Project: Study of mechanisms plants use to control the timing of cell fate transitions. During plant development complex organs are formed with meticulously patterned cell identities. However, none of the embryonically specified cells differentiate before germination and their ‚master regulators‘ are unable to induce differentiation. In general, the research group is interested in plant development, cell identity, and pattern formation.

Where: ZMBR, University of Tübingen, Germany
Supervisor:
Deadline for application: ideally before July 21st, 2025
Start date: 1st January 2026 (earliest)
